ˡ This premise regarding the electability of political candidates based solely on their qualifications to assume a position of authority in the predominant hierarchical system of order is one based on fallacy, as the validity of said organizational structure hinges on the willingness of the public to participate in a voting process predicated on the illusion of choice. This subconscious belief that somehow these insignificant men and women of questionable morals could capture the attention of a populace that, more often than not, remains detached from reality through a well orchestrated host of distractions. The public's fascination with the sordid monotony of celebrity, the vapid lure of triviality, and a preoccupation with the inane have all contributed to the malaise of future generations. That someone could wholeheartedly endorse the candidacy of morally bankrupt charlatans at the expense of their own personal freedom is no longer the exception, rather it is the rule for generations of people who have been taught - through systems of indoctrination masquerading as instruments of psychosocial advancement and progression, as well as bastions of knowledge and wisdom - to accept these trespasses against their sovereignty as a fundamental rite of passage. The active reference of institutional degradation with regard to the learning process being an essential component of the political establishment’s plan to redefine its role as one of casual observer to that of a pivotal intercessor in the lives of those who would be born into its sphere of influence.
