Proxy Warfare

Written By Michael Reign on Sunday, June 30, 2013 | 3:33 PM

Exists as the by-product of a relationship between an undisclosed benefactor, usually in the form of a state or non-state antagonist independent of the dynamic governing the onset of the initial conflict, as well as the proxy elements serving as the conduit for that nation’s weapon manufacture, training expenditures, and monetary funding.
In essence, proxy wars exist as military exercises conducted by an exoteric sociopolitical appendage as a means to further that nation’s strategic objectives absent their direct involvement in such conflicts.
