A software program developed by Inslaw, Inc. (A miniscule Washington, D.C.-based, information technology firm) through the United States Department of Justice in the mid 1970s for the express purpose of coordinating and tracking disparate data indices, these stores of information containing sensitive legal information, oftentimes on several different operating systems. In its present form, the operant efficiency of this software has been significantly enhanced, modifications ascribed to the aforementioned technologies are listed as follows:

1) The tracking and monitoring of submarines and federally subsidized underwater research facilities through the use of complex programs based on a coordinate system similar to the Cartesian plane.

2) The prediction/ speculation of global financial market movements and trends relevant to currency values as established by the International Monetary Fund and the Bank for International Settlements.
