A telecommunications interception facility owned and operated by AT&T (American Telephone and Telegraph Company - A multinational telecommunications firm whose principal base of operations is recognized as Whitacre Tower, in Dallas, Texas) as a corporate front organization (Front organizations exist as corporate-level businesses or companies funded and monopolized by an exoteric appendage, examples include the following: intelligence agencies, criminal enterprises, publicly ostracized associations, religious or political institutions, advocacy groups, or corporations. Front organizations can act at the behest of a parent association without attracting unwarranted attention to these assemblies) acting under the direction of the United States National Security Agency (NSA). Located in the SBC (Southern Bell Company) Communications complex at 611 Folsom Street in San Francisco, California; Room 641A commenced operations in 2003.
