Occult Symbolism | Clothing Apparel: Androgyne Manila

Androgyne Manila, a clothing and apparel line founded in 2011 and based in Taguig City, is the Philippine commercial industry’s latest attempt at introducing occult themed illustration inspired by various aspects of the Illuminist philosophy to prospective consumers. The incorporation of the term ‘Androgyne’ as part of the title for that brand’s style of clothing exists as a marketing ploy designed to blur the lines governing the concept of sexual identity with various occultist permutations referencing the androgynous nature of the Goat of Mendes or Baphomet. This merger of the feminine and the masculine aspects of one’s persona evidenced by said manufacturer's corporate motto: “The Marriage of Feminine and Masculine Fashion.”
